SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
We welcome submissions via email written in working languages that are closely related to the areas specified in the call for papers. Abstracts and full texts are evaluated and selected according to double-blind peer reviews by the scientific committee of the conference and scholars specialized in this field.
Abstract should not exceed 300 words and it must clearly indicate the problem, objectives, research methods, results and conclusions.
All abstracts sent by email will be considered.

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to announce that the Second INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE STUDIES OF OTTOMAN EMPIRE IN THREE CONTINENTS will be held from 11-13 February 2022. in Istanbul, Trukey. The conference will be organized in hybrid way, which will allow for both physical and online participation of the attendees.The conference seeks to contribute to presenting novel research results in all aspects of Ottoman Studies.
The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Ottoman Studies. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary forum for scientists, researchers, and graduate students to present their latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications. The conference will bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world.
The conference's goal will to provide a scientific forum for all international prestige scholars around the world and enable the interactive exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge.
Due to an uncertain COVID-19 situation, that resulted in a very difficult travel restriction for most countries and because of still unknown situation the Organizing Committee is also offering Online participation to the event with Virtual Video Presentation option.

Abstract Submission
Organizers of the conference welcome online submissions written in English, Turkish, French, Arabic and Russian languages that are closely related to the areas specified in the call for papers.

Please take note that only submissions via email to info@ottomanconference.org until January 25th, 2022 will be accepted.

Authors are also advised to proofread their abstracts. Any error in spelling, grammar or data will appear in print.

Submission of abstracts doesn't include official registration for the conference. If the abstract is submitted by two authors, both of them must make the official registration.

Full Text Submission
You must send your paper in word / doc format to info@ottomanconference.org until February 20th, 2022 at the latest.
The file should be named with the surname of the Corresponding Author
Example file name: FULL TEXT TEMPLATE
Before submitting your final paper, check that the format conforms to template. Specifically, check the appearance of the title and author block, the appearance of section headings, document margins, column width and other features. Please make sure that the use of other languages in figures and tables is avoided. Papers should be checked by a native English speaker with expertise in the field prior to submission.
Also note that you can submit your Full-Text paper(s) after you have completed the payment.
GUIDELINES
Abstract/ Full Text Guidelines
- Times New Roman, 12 pt. (Article title, names of authors, institutions, e-mail addresses, abstract and all keywords should be in 12 pt. For parts such as graphics, tables, the author's font size can be determined by the author in the most appropriate way)
- Give the line spacing 1.25
- Do not indent at the beginning of the paragraph from the left.
- MAIN titles should be written in CAPITAL letters and bold
- You can use the APA citation style
- Your full texts must be at least 5 pages.
- SUMMARY, INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH AND FINDINGS, CONCLUSION and REFERENCES sections should be shown under separate headings in your full texts.
Mode of Participation
We offer two alternatives
- Face-to-face participation at Istanbul Grand Meeting Hall
(depending on the positive developments in the pandemic process)
- Online participation (by Zoom program)
